Aren’t chocolate brownies just the best!! Yummy gooey chocolate on the inside, just one bite and it is all ozzes down your chin!!
We at Sprites think this recipe is the most scrumptious yet
What you need
- 175g dark chocolate, broken into pieces
- 175g butter
- 2509 golden caster sugar
- 115g plain flour
- 2tsp vanilla extract
- 100g chocolate chips
What to use
- 20cm square cake tin
- Non – stick baking paper
- Scissors
- Heatproof bowl
- Saucepan
- Wooden spoon
- Small bowl
- Fork
- Sieve
- Flexible spatula
- Knife
- Teaspoon
How to do it
- Preheat oven to 180c/ gas mark 4. Grease the time and line it with non stick baking paper.
- Place the chocolate and butter in a bowl. Melt over a pan of simmering water, stir unit smooth. Remove pan from the heat. Cool slightly.
- Add the sugar and salt to the melted chocolate. Beat the eggs in a bowl and add them gradually to the mixture.
- Sift the flour into the mixture and beat until smooth. Add the vanilla extract and stir in the chocolate chips.
- Scrape the mixture into the tin. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is pale brown and the middle is soft. Remove from the oven.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the time before cutting into pieces.
